Katie Holt is our Worship Leader. Katie started leading worship in Fredericksburg, VA in 2005 during her final year at the University of Mary Washington where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Education.  When she joined a local church’s worship team that year, she not only discovered the deep passion and purpose God placed within her, but she also met her future spouse, Chip. They were married in 2007 and have been leading worship together ever since. They moved to the area in 2010, which launched Katie into a new season of vocational ministry. Katie has been on staff with Waterbrook since February of 2019 and she is grateful for the opportunity to help lead the body of Christ to the throne room each and every weekend.  She loves to see people “fall madly in love with a Father who is madly in love with them” as they worship. When she’s not at The Brook, Katie uses her creative and administrative skills and education background to help several ministries along the Grand Strand including the Vineyard. She and her husband also write and record original worship music which they share around the country on their travels with Shiloh Place Ministries, and she spends her free time planning special Disney trips for her family and friends.
